CAPS Global Business Class Visits Neighborhood Reads

The Washington CAPS Global Business and Entrepreneurship classes visited Neighborhood Reads, 401 Lafayette Street in Washington, on Thursday, Dec. 14.

The students took a tour of the bookstore. Owner Dawn Kitchell spoke to the class about starting a business, her vision for the business and her marketing plan.

The CAPS Global Business and Entrepreneurship class introduces students to the knowledge, attributes and skills entrepreneurs need to create and launch their own business concepts.

Students are taught the foundations of business needed to start companies while developing skills and talents necessary to invent their own careers.
